Time Trial Level Design

A huge part of my work on the game was the Level Design and cinematic. For the prototype, only two level were available: The Viking level, fully playable, and the Aztec Level, still on development. You can access it in the game, but the God’s camera isn’t finished yet and the God player will have some problems with it.

Here are the two cinematics that play when you start a level. Their purpose is to quickly introduce the level and to show to the players where it ends:

Two more level were also in build but not in the final prototype: An Egyptian Level and a Greek Level (Staring the Gods of time Heh and Cronos).

Each Level would present a different architecture with a lot of different road for the Hero. The problem is to correctly adapt the God camera for each of these architectures.
